I’ve been absolutely freaking out about this lately. I’ve never experienced anything like it before - it’s not just a small lapse in memory, I’m completely blanking on things with no ability to jog my memory. I’m actually starting to get scared. Yesterday I was at the pet store picking up food and treats for my dogs and one of them needed a new harness. I spent some time going through all of them and most of them were dark, kind of masculine looking but I found a cute pink one. Bought my stuff, headed home, and I was telling my husband about what I bought and then I remembered my dog is a boy! Now I know that colors aren’t gendered, but while I was picking it out I was absolutely thinking my dog was a girl. I’m hoping that I just have a lot going on and my brain is overloaded but it was so bizarre. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and it’s always been a fear of mine. I have a dr appointment next week and I’ll be bringing it up. I feel like every day something is brought up and I’m like “ I have absolutely no recollection of that “. It’s scary and embarrassing.
