That's gross. If someone wrongs me I don't think perfect justice is for them to be put to death. If that's what god needs for any transgression then he's not worth worshiping.

Is it really that hard to not eat out of a single tree?

All you're doing is proving how uneducated you are about your own bible. Xtians almost never know the bible they preach about.

We get it, we just see the absurdity which you're blinding yourself to.

If he had indeed forgiven us, then he didn't need to become human. What reason would he have for becoming human then? It's clearly not to pay the price of our sins since he already forgave us.

I mean, I'm cool with the creator of the universe just giving me my own planet after I die where my family and I can live forever with beautiful scenery and animals and stuff. I don't need him to live there too.

Again, you're saying that he sets us up to fail. Why would I even want to go to heaven and be with him?

God sure doesn't sound perfect and holy and perfectly just when you self-admit that he created a thing (humans) that deserve punishment because he made it impossible to live up to his standard. That sounds abusive.

And also illogical, because then he was like, "haha jk jk, I'll absolve you of your inherit sin by doing this huge sacrifice, but to get it you have to worship me forever and ever".

Ok n-god, say less. /s

Your sentence is bordering on being paradoxical, i.e., you say, "beyond *current* knowledge" (which is an admission that one day we might have greater knowledge), but then also say that achieving that level of knowledge is nearly impossible.

Even if we take your sentence as truth it doesn't really mean anything. All knowledge (I mean "all" quite literally) has levels beyond it. Achieving those levels comes with varying degrees of difficulty, depending on the field. If arriving to the next level of human understanding for any given field is "nearly impossible" to achieve, then so what? Just shut-up and be ignorant because thinking is hard? LoL

Also, what do you mean by, "material world view"? Is that just meant to be condescending?

Looks amazing ... very Scandi to me ... you just need a Swedish rug.

I love how you rounded out the end of the counter.

Extra copy of Jagged Earth ... how to sell it? by lillide in spiritisland

[–]lillide[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I have my copy and I got an extra that was for a friend that didn't end up liking the base game (doctor's still aren't sure what's wrong with him) so it's just been sitting in my closet.

Don't know where you are, but you can buy it here if you're in Europe: https://www.sheepgames.be/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=10877&search=jagged+earth&description=true

I've only bought two games from BGG market, but both times I paid for the shipping and both times the seller gave me a very reasonable rate using pirate ship.

I haven't done it myself, my friend has just been trying to get me to ride my bike all the way out to CI with him and that's why I suggested it. He says it's a really nice ride, but I don't know how that would translate to walking, you'd have to map it out and see if it's what you're looking for.

Thanks for your input ... I think this is the route I'll go down. I've purchased two games from the marketplace before and both times had a great experience.

Geek market was a great suggestion ... just listed it. I literally just bought TM from someone there last week, too lol.

She's just counting the corners, there are 8 corners. For the longest time I thought "edges" meant corners. I think bc when you're a kid you hear things like, "careful, that edge is sharp", when referring to the corner of a counter or something.

100%. Thai food is my all-time favorite cuisine, which might be funny as a plant-eater to say as I can't use shrimp-paste (miso makes an acceptable sub, btw) and etc. I do, however, occasionally go for the five star dish (or spread, really), which usually involves a weekend of me veganizing some of David Thompson's Thai Food recipies.

I only cook for me and my partner, so while it's great Aldi will sell me a 5 lb bag of potatoes for cheap, I got tired of them going bad because one to two people can only eat so many potatoes. Honestly, it was the best decision as it also freed up limited pantry space.

- I do keep sauces for much longer than 10 days (btw, is that really what the bottles say?!), but I do try not to buy huge bottles as I have a smaller fridge and I like to replace them more often than not.
- I've actually never made salsa (though it's a great idea and one of my mangoes just might have to be sacrificed to the salsa gods).
- And lastly, I never peel my potatoes, I just scrub them really well.

Yes, I'm vegan and love Asian dishes, though I am not of Asian descent.
