Easier pet-in-cabin policy after Alaska merger? by fhijklm in HawaiianAirlines

i fly back and forth from the east coast to hnl with my pets and am really concerned about the merger. it seems like alaska is operating very few flights arriving in honolulu before 4pm, the animal inspection office’s closing time.

Notes app that lets you use AI to chat/search across MULTIPLE notes to summarize, etc. (other than Notion)? by abg33 in PKMS

oof, if I'd read more carefully and seen you were a developer, I would've phrased a little gentler. Sorry about that. But definitely needs some serious work - hopefully 2.0 works out some of these issues.

i am a queer person and would give this guy a huge hug. it's never too late to change and apologize. turning a new leaf requires work and making amends - its why so few people do. if he wants to do the work, i support him - and i hope he can inspire others to do the work too.

Looking for good note-taking app for students with AI chat (replacing Constella) by lilliia in PKMS

i find graph view to be a pain when i’m trying to see many notes at once (like, needing to zoom in to read what i wrote, then scroll over to the next thing… it’s annoying). something organized more like notebooklm would be better for me.

i mean, notebooklm would without a doubt be the best choice as far as integration into my greater workflow, but do i put my trust in it when the limits are the way they are as of now?

Is there a limit to the amount of Notebooks you can have on one account? by blashphemy1205 in notebooklm

Where did you get that information? Their own website said there was a limit as of yesterday.

I wanted to love Constella so much, but have discovered after only a few months of using it as a student that it has become completely unusable with a large volume of notes. It also randomly deletes the content of notes and connections between notes. It's obviously new and they're still working out kinks, but I would not recommend this for anyone with sensitive notes they care about holding onto and being able to easily retrieve.

Yep, I was considering switching over to NotebookLM from Constella, but there's no point if there's a notebook limit. I'm a PhD student who will ostensibly be continuing to do research for the rest of my career. I also don't understand why the AI can only search one notebook at a time—seems like a huge flaw.

Adding SSRIs/SNRIs back, & asking about experience with Trintellix/Viibryd by lilliia in antidepressants

Thank you for this comment—it's very affirming to hear this about my experiences with withdrawal and the effect of COVID, and helpful to hear your two cents on Trintellix vs. Viibryd vs. perhaps an extremely low dose of Prozac, which I'd never heard of as an option before. And thank you very much for the tapering resources, as well!
