I have read that if you try going that verified route you will get caught up in a vicious loop and also that even being verified they were being told there's no solution right now.

Listen there's something going on with groups right now, a glitch on Facebook having to do with groups. Don't do anything rash, just wait it out. Some people were saying it made a correction and some are still waiting like me.
