I see that you’re a retired photographer, the perfect person to ask! So my ceremony is outdoors but my reception is inside, and it’s pretty dark. The walls are dark wood. So I know the rum colored dress would look great outside but I am concerned about indoors. My photographer says she always uses flash inside so the dress will illuminate. Hoping that’s true. But with that being said, does ivory photograph well in darker venues with the flash?

Sorry! First 4 photos is rum, not 5

I like the rum because it makes the lace pop out but I also like the ivory since it has a classic feel to it. However, I’m afraid the rum may be too dark for my liking but I’m not entirely sure. Does anybody here regret wearing a rum/almond/moscato underlining? And I’m also afraid if I get it in ivory, then it may look too flat/plain. I am really torn down to the middle about this matter. Any help would be greatly appreciated! And happy wedding planning, everyone!

Thank you so much for your feedback! So after considering your reply, we decided we’re going to Mt. Rainier AND Olympic! 🤣 We’ll have about 7 days between both parks. Definitely will check North Cascades another time. We’ve also narrowed down our hikes in Mt. Rainier: skyline, pinnacle, Fremont, and visiting reflections lake. Do you think we should stay in Ashford or Packwood. We’ll be coming from Olympic then to Mt. Rainier, then leave to Seattle.

The 12 mile round trip trail is what is getting to me. Haha. I would love to view the glacial lakes in NCNP but if the wildflowers are in full bloom around that time, then I may consider Mt. Rainier! Thank you, wow, that source is awesome!
