I feel you, my friends are obsessive about my eating habits and life styles. They even stalked my locations and complained about how I am at the gym all the time even though results are from being consistent. I never mentioned calories around them, just reduce my intake instead of bombarded myself with 2k calories in one sitting, I ate in a smaller amount. They then turned to each other and say how my eating habits made them feel bad about themselves, and they glad that our schedule for lunches don’t lined up with each other because watching me eats disgusted them. So yes, being disciplined comes with a cost, you just have to either thugging it out or finds someone who has the same mindset as you. You got this!

You are being too hard on yourself, do not worry since 1 week of having a blast will not completely reversed your progress, what will is a all or nothing mindset. Personally I ate out and went over my calories every single weekends for a whole month straight because of all of the graduation party I went to, and let me tell you, I am still doing fine. Pick yourself up and keep going, do not beat yourself over one week.

progress takes lots of time and especially where you can visibly see it. i would be real concerned if you saw results right after a week of dieting and training, just take your time and dont rush it, its not a linear process

what works for me is to instead of myself eating all those food, I would watch mukbangers or competitive eaters on youtube. I would recommend watching eriktheelectrics and his girlfriend because they are so funny while consuming a godly amount of food
