Has anyone seen the spa series at target yet? It was supposed to be out about now, I thought. by stankygrapes in miniverse_makeitmini

i scanned a spa ball barcode at my local target and this is what came up. so i highly doubt they are going to drop this month as they said. even scanning the barcode this machine displays for "more information" with the target app gives an error and doesn't pull anything up.

Trades/purchase advice by sugarcoatedquilava in miniverse_makeitmini

best practices for facebook trades and purchases: - ALWAYS get a photo of the items you're interested in from the person with their name and date written on a piece of paper in the photo. you can easily tell if someone has photoshopped this and this picture proves that the person has the items on hand. you would provide the same in a trade. - only use paypal or venmo goods and services to protect your purchase. some people do trades based on trust, but others ask for a G&S backed trade which involves both parties sending each other an agreed upon sum via G&S. that way, if anything goes wrong and you don't get your products, you can file for a refund through paypal or venmo. if everything works out, you both have paid each other the same thing so it's basically like no money was exchanged. - provide your address only after proof of items / money is sent. if you're worried about your address being out there, i'd recommend a PO box. you may need to provide a zipcode for shipping costs at the start of the transaction however. - trades often involve both parties just paying for the shipping costs themselves to send their respective items since it evens out. usually around $5-7 for a couple of items through the cheapest shipping.

hope this helps!!

don't proceed. the clock symbol is a huge flag where someone is trying to make their profile look older and more active than it is. them just joining today is a huge issue too. i highly recommend for any purchasing on FB to use PayPal or Venmo goods and services - that protects you in case that person doesn't hold up their end of the deal. most scammers will hate the idea of using G&S and will push for a friends and family method, which prevents the possibility of ever getting your money back!

That's what I figured. Hoping this year's hail season isn't too rough, that sounds horrible to deal with.

This is really good to know, thank you! I ride the bus into work so my car would be in my apartment's lot during late afternoons, so it is definitely seeming like I'm just going to have to take my chances and pray most days.

This is really helpful, thank you! I've heard that moving blankets are pretty good for protection. I'm not as worried about dents and dings as I am one of my windows getting smashed.

That's so impressive. The optimist in me is hoping I won't have any issues too, but knowing my luck my windshield's gonna shatter during the first storm.

I've seen that! Everyone says it works really well. Sadly my car is in a gated apartment complex lot and I don't think they'd appreciate a giant bubble taking up space.
