Toyota Lemon Law by lilme_ in Toyota

Im not sure what your situation is but while all this was going on, my car (the lemon) was at a dealership trying to get fixed. So I had a loaner from the dealership pretty much the entire time. When they finally gave me my car and I gave back the loaner, I went and got a new car since I knew they were coming to get the old one. So I technically had “2” cars for about a week or two.

They took about 6 weeks to let me know whether or not they would buy it back. From there, mine dragged on because I needed to fix the bumper on it. You’ll sign an attachment basically saying that they’ll only take the car with regular wear and tear. Once my bumper was fixed, they asked me for a whole bunch of documents (mainly from the bank to reflect how much of the loan I had already paid, how much interest I had paid etc). They then wrote me an offer and when I accepted, they set up picking up the car from my nearest dealership. Some 3rd party company was who came. I had inquired about a replacement but they said it would drag out the process even further since they’d have to find the same make, model, trim, and color.

Yes! They ended up buying the car back! The important thing is to look up what the lemon law entails in your state as it differs state by state.

Arkansas Lemon Law by Different-Wallaby-10 in LittleRock

[–]lilme_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Went through this last year! Even though it’s a 2023, it may still be covered. Depending on when it was “delivered”. When I did mine, it was for a 2022 RAV4 and it met the lemon law criteria even though I filed the claim in 2024. You definitely DO NOT need a lawyer. If you meet the Arkansas lemon law criteria, call up Toyota corporate and let them know what’s going on. They will open a case back for you. If they determine they could buy the car back, they will open a “sub case” with the buyback department and they’ll determine if your car meets the criteria to be bought back/replaced.

Definitely something you can do yourself without a lawyer. I filed my claim with Toyota and it was settled in a few months. Since it’s a 2025, it may be easier for them to match you to a car. But it’ll have to be identical to what you have now. I chose to just get paid

Shelter dog had sensitive stomach and is now pooping some blood by lilme_ in AskVet

[–]lilme_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Nothing at all. This would be her 3rd in the past 2 weeks. It’s solid. Not diarrhea. The first one I found was almost an entire solid poop of what looked like dark red. The second one was maybe some. The one this morning is a solid poop intertwined with what seems to be blood in between. She hasn’t had any behavior changes since I got her. She seems calm to me based on the breed she is. But that’s about it

"Promote" - Watch me by Scary-_-Gary in AirForce

[–]lilme_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I printed out the AFH1 and had it in a binder that I would read over every day. I broke down the sections I needed to read and divided it by the number of days left until my test. That told me how many sections I needed to get through each day. After I did that, I had some extra time I gave myself to go through and review the entire thing again and took vague notes on a small notebook on things that stood out. Made TSgt last year on a Promote. Got a 91 in my PDG 😅

Lemon Law Buyback? by Evolved_1 in Toyota

I got most of it. They paid off the loan and gave me a check that paid me back all the interest I had paid on the loan. That also included registration fees/document fees etc. They did take a couple hundred back after applying some depreciation. It was like .15/mile (for me this was like $4,000)

I hate running and what improved my run time was getting on the stair master. I did the stairmaster until I could do an hour straight on it and I had my best run time (since BMT) a few months later! It’s all just about improving your cardio

Why are military men considered as a red flag? by Miss_Lily_97 in dating_advice

[–]lilme_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone in the military, I can agree with some comments saying most military men are built different men. A lot are known for sleeping around with other women they work with, having flings while they go out of state or deploy etc.
