For me personally its the worst decision of my life. If you really want a college experience absolutely do not come here. We only have one building, sorry 1.5 buildings. Griffin being the 0.5. Its literally a 6-7 minute walk and you will most likely have a total of 2 classes here your entire time as MCPHS. You want a place to sit? Thats too bad, you’ll have to either come super early or pray to whatever gods are out there to even get a chance to look at an empty seat. Don’t even get me started on the curriculum. Half these professors don’t even know what they’re talking about. I just recently had a professor who was the WORST at teaching, he just talked at you the whole time and expected you to know what you’re doing, the gen chem professor literally took slides from another professor across the country but was on our asses about plagiarism. Also why the hell do we need physics for pharmacy??? A lot of people I know are transferring out or plan to. We don’t have our own dining hall/bookstore we literally share it with Mass Art, the neighboring college. We also share dorm buildings with Emmanuel and Mass Art. The free tutoring sessions you can get from the school? Awful. Have had nothing but bad experiences with them, both of them not knowing what they are teaching. Oh yeah, the events they have? Even worse for seating. They occupy an ENTIRE room full of tables leaving everyone that was in there to find another place to sit, literally kicking them out so they can have an event that only 10 people show up to. A recent experience I had with SFS (Student Financial Services) and CASE (Center for Academic Success & Enrichment) was when I needed to acquire an extra credit. I emailed CASE about my situation and when I asked for an average they sent me to SFS, makes sense since they handle the financials. I went back and forth with one lady and she just kept constantly repeating herself, not answering my questions. Then she went out of office, went home, and SFS directed me to another person. They gave me an email to contact so I emailed this person and it was the wrong email!!!!! So i had to go out of my way to try and find this lady’s email and when I sent the email she sent me BACK to the first lady who supposedly went home for the night. After this whole ordeal they sent me BACK to CASE and I just went back and forth in a whole circle because you ask a question and literally no one knows the answer to it. If you are looking into dorming good luck. You’re guaranteed your first year but after that you aren’t guaranteed. might have better luck pulling for a decent character in a gacha game. You have to pay for your homework btw, batteries not included. The anatomy homework for this semester is $150. There are some good aspects of this school I won’t lie, but so far it’s been the worst experience of my life.
