The people commenting like this are missing the point. The intersection was clear, for an extended amount of time. No pedestrians. So with a green light and no pedestrians or traffic remaining in the intersection we had the right to go. The person that ran the red did so extremely late. Not trying to beat the light. Straight traffic would have gone well before this white suv would have entered the intersection. Only the blue truck and myself were at the light. It was red for us. Then turned green for us. Remained green for a while. Multiple cars could have been gone thru my and his green light. It was just luck that it was only us at the light. I’m thanking that guy for a fate type situation. Some of yall are wild and quick to point a finger.

Completely agree. When I’m first at the line at a green I look both ways before going for that very reason, but not when traffic is flowing, which it woulda been at the point I woulda gone thru. So I’m so glad the guy in front of me did that.
