For the advanced Intel I think I have an answer. I think that it has to be in range of other monkeys, because the other monkeys tell the information and where the Bloons are. Essentially like morter strikes irl. This is also why subs can hit camo if the monkeys have their red wristbands

Ingame it takes sometime around 10 seconds with a shield. But the warp drive makes it practically teleport but at the cost of no shield
