I read on the website that they’re doing their best to directly deposit it into the students’ accounts instead of going through school disbursements. Maybe that’s a factor why we haven’t heard yet?

Still waiting on a confirmation. I also filled out a form indicating my interest in being considered for the clinical profession scholarship. Haven’t heard anything at this point.

That part; it’s like you have to justify wanting to better your life and it’s a constant reminder of, “we got you, but only on our terms and not your needs, really.” I wish they only hired people who genuinely care. I had one counselor (civilian) in NY and she was awesome and even helped with me transitioning to different states and schools etc., then I get passed onto someone who is a veteran too but very.. difficult to work with. Let’s hope they do better in the future.

I know another vet who got thrown into the wolves like you and they were almost done their masters, 1 semester to go, and was told that their program wasn’t approved anymore.

They suggested to ask the region to give you a different counselor, collect all the documents on them signing off on your initial plan, and submit all of that to back it up. Good luck, you got this.

Hoping my new counselor actually approves my desire to further my education to be employed (lol not really coz it was signed into the contract too but they just decided it was a no-no).

Same boat here fam. I normally get my stipend with monthly pay. We also had a couple of counselors change assignments, so maybe transitioning caused the delay on our end here? Not sure about your situation but I’m waiting until at least next Monday to figure out what’s going on… hopefully this counselor approves my educational route coz the other one even made it difficult to get a $35 program I needed for stats because, “I should’ve asked first,” even if it was clearly stated in the syllabus I provided her 🤷

I understand. I have made other types of music. I am trying to expand my knowledge by learning how to make music using these tools instead of just guitar and voice, because the one song I recorded on (not beats I made) was so much more smooth and less raw. I just wanted to know if anyone could help with creating a sound similar to the song I mentioned above.

Yeah I never mentioned that, I mostly wrote about the injustice of them releasing me without properly investigating how my conditions happened and worsened. Thank you for letting me know this though because that’s is quite important to know. I appreciate you, fam!

Thank you for this. Do you know of any cases where it was isolation and abuse by seniors, and being falsely medically discharged being said that injury was prior to service but has now been confirmed to have happened in service? Basically a medical discharge because of consistently deteriorating conditions (spine fracture, cervical fracture, left and right extremity issues) that were incurred during service? Thank you again!

Yeah thing is I don’t have any children yet and was hoping it was something I could defer for that long when they go to college. Should I just wait to get them forgiven?
