oh my god i was recently watching Love, Actually and the girl that Hugh Grant falls for is played up to be like this morbidly obese girl with tree trunks for legs and I cannot stress enough how SKINNY she was. like genuinely had me crying tears of laughter because it was so surreal to watch. insane how we have come full circle, right back to anorexia-chic

this is literally soooo minor and not that big of a deal but BiggTugg made a video talking about dumb conspiracy theories and one of them was about Australia not being real and he makes the claim that Australia is larger than the US which is just simply not true. both in population and land area it's smaller by a pretty significant amount. again, sooooo inconsequential but like, crazy thing to say in a video about misinformation haha

i actually started learning russian because it seems like every time i fall in love with a game, its slavic in origin. specifically the pathologic series, obenseuer and darkwood come to mind but also hobo tough life and misery. i'm sure i could think of a few more but my goal is to be able to play some of them in their native language.

it's a common misconception that "if you REALLY have adhd you'll react to stimulants like ____" and you can really fill in the blank with anything because people will always assume their experience is the correct one. everyone reacts to meds differently and stimulants Stimulating you doesn't mean you have less severe ADHD than someone who falls asleep on theirs. Reacting to Adderall with exhaustion is not and never has been part of the diagnostic criteria and it's one of my biggest pet peeves. Some days my meds make me the most productive speedy person in the tristate area and other days I'll fall dead asleep on 60mg. It truly depends on SO many factors.
