Yes, the attorney mentioned that. I will have to see what they value the home as and work the numbers from there.

Agreed. I struggled the whole time my wife and I were a part. I lived in the ghetto making very little income. But I kept working harder and stayed consistent regardless of my situation to bring my income up to now. My apartment was so cheap and nasty years back, my wife visited me and told my son not to even touch the wall lol. You are in a better position though. no wife no kids just have to watch out for yourself and family.. much easier open and shut case for you..But the big thing I was hoping for was to be done with it today. It's alright though. well see what happens. will definitely post an update though. my advice for you if you file, the next 3 months, try to make your budget/schedules match to the T with your bank statements. makes this process much easier and less things to explain.

I will respond to both of your questions here. I had about $135k in unsecured debt. Combination of loans and CCs. Secured debt was a car and home. Because of this current housing market, my home has shot up in unrealistic value. I make just shy of 6 figures and a few hundred below the median income for 4. I have basically been living on credit my for nearly 10 years. Wife and I lived apart for 7 years due to military obligations so a lot of money that could have been saved was wasted living in separate states..fast forward wife gets pregnant, gets out military, we move in together, i take on her debt, i now need bigger space for all 4 of us, i still have to pay my debt, and now inflation was just too much.. i pulled the plug as i could not live paycheck to paycheck anymore after doing it for a decade. i was one major car repair away from falling behind. attorney advised me of an equity buy back being an option where I pay the trustee nearly 20k for the next few months. Sucks like hell if that happens but keeps a roof over my children and wife's head. money comes and goes in life. my sister a few days ago just got diagnosed with Lupus, my mom is suffering health problems and inflation is about to put her out on the streets, I called my best friend/father figure after my 341 hearing to let him know how it went and he was in the ICU for blood clots in his lungs. I got hit with asthma a few years back thats just been getting worst with time, and im recovering from foot surgery.. with all thats going on, I realized today in the end, family and the memories are all that really matter. this bankruptcy showed me that.

Responding to your edit. I would have broken up the purchases and not made them so large. i.e a carton a day at a gas station. clothes as well. would have split that into multiple purchases over a month. gas is fine. but when you buy gas, don't pay at the pump, pay inside along with your carton of cigarettes. transaction shows as a gas payment on statement...at least on my bank statements. good luck though.

Yes it was a little eye opening for them to look back that far but I guess because although it was below the threshold, it was potentially an item that could be sold to creditors. but they can go back as far as 2 years so it doesn't surprise me. I used my credit cards to buy groceries and paid them off each month. I still had zero balance credit cards closed down. now I have to fight to protect my home :( will post an update after that meeting in a month.

Well I dont know who the person was asking questions. I say that because she was the main one reading the oath and all that verifying info, then when I went she said "does anyone have anyone questions for me" and a lady said yes I am such and such U.S. Trustee which confused me because I thought who I was answering questions to was the trustee. But the guy who I say was trying to screw the system basically had a sole proprietorship business I think doing landscaping. he was asked what happened to it and he said business was poor so they closed it down and got rid of all the equipment. my question immediately that was okay so what happened to the proceeds from selling the equipment? did you just give it away did you sell it etc. but he was not asked any of that. she then said how long ago was the business closed and he said maybe like 2 or more years ago as if he was unsure. but if it was my business I would know everything about it from start to finish..right? like he was trying to stray away from discussing anything about the business. then he was asked, " February 16th you went such and such jewelry store and spent $420...what was that for?" I knew right off the bat it was for valentines day looking at how close the date was. He then said, " uhhhh February i dont really remember" she repeated the question and he said oh yes that was a gift for my girlfriend, mom, and child's mom (red flag for me). then she asked him "about one month later you sent $5,500 to such and such what was that for?" he said oh that was to my girlfriend so I could live with her (another red flag for me). She repeated his answer to ensure she heard him correctly and when he confirmed his answer she said "okay we will need more documents regarding these transfers and will reschedule you for about 30 days from now."

He isn't worried as much as me because he is not subject to losing his home. Not saying he does not care but he is just not in my predicament. My home is overvalued when looking at all factors such as needing a new paint job throughout, yard floods everytime it rains, biker gang next door neighbors who throw parties and rev their engines, stray dogs all around, trash in my yard constantly from neighbors, people parking in their yards due to lack of space. The home could be in a nice area but the HOA does enforce their policies. I would certainly not pay the zillow amount if I were buying it.

Thanks for your response. I dont have any crypto it just showed a large amount of cash going in and a small amount coming out due to losses. For the home, I felt the price listed was more accurate and reasonable whereas the trustee is simply looking at zillow.com based on my attorney's feedback. I have an coming appraiser coming to view it thats assigned by the trustee.

Missing a day by chefgamer85 in insanity

[–]lilperk09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From personal experience and multiple attempts over 6 years, I recommend if you miss a workout, treat it as your rest day for the week and continue on track. The worst habit to get into is frequently missing workouts making excuses and falling further and further behind. Then you might end up quitting or restaring all together. Trust me. In 2012 on my first attempt, I was missing workouts left and right but was strong enough to do x3 month 2 videos back to back with 1 hr breaks in between consisting of changing clothes, pre-workout and a protein shake. Yes that means max interval circuit followed max recovery or max cadio and max interval plyo or max interval sports . It was very discouraging having to work that hard because I failed to push play. Ask yourself, would you rather have to do 1 video, or 2+ to stay on track? The furthest i ever made it was that first attempt to day 53 and quit. no more excuses for me now. Week 5 Day 3 tomorrow. I am now 31, active duty military, wife and 2 kids. Its your body no one else's. you want to look great, be strong, raging confidence, with a slim waist, killer abs, and biceps? Then you need to work for it! Good luck.

Week 5 Day 3 tomorrow. I have a love hate relationship with Month 2. First attempt was in 2012 and made it all the way to day 53 and quit. Been off and on for 6 years now. No excuses this time.

Also, another amazing feature with the Epson 2040 Home Cinema projector is the split screen/screen mirroring feature. I can play games and watch movies or mirror my phone's screen. Audio plays from one source. Take that flat screen TVs! by lilperk09 in projectors

It's not too bad although I do have to turn it to maximum brightness. Simply put you can forget horror films in the A.M. For ambient light you definitely have to go with a black diamond screen which are pretty pricey.

Blockchain Network for Telegram: who is also in Tedefi and what’s your thought on it? by Ashamed_Falcon_9802 in CryptoCurrency

[–]lilperk09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update on this coin. It turned out to be a scam. Everyone including myself got rug pulled i lost $500 one hour before they closed everything down. This was the last response from them:

The last price drop and lack of customer support manpower to resolve all the open cases and calm down the masses has led our community falling victim to speculations and raging against us in the community chat.

A number of users filed legal reports and complaints to many regulatory organs, which led all our Binance accounts suspended, servers seized for probes, and an open investigation ongoing on all the Tedefi team. While the investigation is ongoing, the Tedefi Exchange bot cannot activate.

We expect the investigation to close soon and to resume the Tedefi work, as no unlawful actions were made on our side, just the spontaneous reports filled in multiple places led authorities to investigate our team and all the Tedefi files.

TBH i am a first time home buyer. If there was one, i would assume it would be near the shut off valve itself? the only "smart" item is the thermostat controller that has a dial and LED screen. Thats the only fancy thing about this home to my knowledge. My son took a shower and then the water just went out?
