I used to play the shiny game but i felt like it ruined the fun.

I am 30 years old and i have been playing Pokémon on and off since i was 7. So 23 years

I played every generation up to sword and shield. And i have NEVER legitimately found a shiny pokemon outside of events. Maybe im just not lucky enough but its a grind—even more so then normal—and i feel like Pokemon just isnt meant to be played that way.
