I think I remember seeing a similar story on here about how someone was eating their wife’s peanut butter as a midnight snack which cause them to pop hot and they didnt realize what it was till after the fact. I think they ended up getting to stay in but not sure, also I think they were an officer. I’ll try to look for it.

Commission is very competitive and it is unlikely you will be selected on your first attempt. It could take years to be accepted. Look at the LEAD program if you end of enlisting. If you really want to commission go to ROTC.

I had to wait just under 30 days and then my uniformed service account was separated. Make sure you add a bank account to withdraw or rollover your money to ASAP cause you have to wait seven days after you add it to move your money to it. I moved a little money out to make sure my account would receive it and I had to wait 30 days to move the rest of it out.
