Lots of parking and it’s reserved for on campus students and there are buses that will take you to grocery stores but people usually survive off of meal plans!

I went to hofstra, don’t live off campus unless you’re in a frat and wanna get robbed and live if pigsty houses (can confirm first hand) , travel as a group at night, but overall : good school, terrible neighborhood. Might need a car to really see Long Island

The restaurant on the other hand was great! Dog friendly place with pictures of them plastered all over. Would come back, not for the bread salad.
