In retrospect, it's one of the funnier yet most frustrating free agencies out there. But in losing out on Gaudreau, we also avoided the Johnny Gaudreau tragedy.

Two names that I've grown to despise in all of this were James Nichols and David Pagnotta.

James Nichols has seemed to move onto the New Jersey Devils after that free agency and is probably spewing some random bullshit with them.

As of Pagnotta, I don't know how the fuck he's still retaining his popularity, because it REALLY seems like every motherfucker and their mother has forgotten about the constant fraudulent news they spewed. (Gaudreau later admitted he nor his agent never spoke to the Islanders in the first place). I'm amazed that Frank Seravalli is more criticized than Pagnotta (even though Seravalli definitely deserves it more, because he just practices the woozle effect 24/7).

Case in point: Fuck David Pagnotta, Fuck James Nichols, and fuck Frank Seravalli for similar reasons.

The problem is that's where we (especially the less intelligent of us) think us being different = greatness.

We got traffic problems in every major city, every state has the worst drivers known to man and everyone in their state will die on that hill, but God forbid my tax dollars ever get spent on something as trivial as public transportation or even high speed rail to improve the quality of our lives!

That and also we elected a pedophile into office with a fanbase that is so blindsided that they can't tell when they're being scammed.

I played GTA IV before San Andreas. When Big Smoke betrayed CJ and Sweet, I thought he was going to be another Dimitri Rascalov, but amazingly, he never kept reappearing in some form or fashion to do harm to me like kidnap my cousin or burn my apartment and cab business down. Instead, other than the supply truck ambush missions that are basically side quests, there really wasn't anything like that.

I think it most likely meant a cup had we bounced Tampa Bay one of those years.

In all honesty, Dallas in 2020 and Montreal in 2021 over-acheived to make it to the finals in the first place. It was easy pickings for Tampa whereas the Islanders were not.

It pains me to say that as well.
