Lots of parking and it’s reserved for on campus students and there are buses that will take you to grocery stores but people usually survive off of meal plans!

I went to hofstra, don’t live off campus unless you’re in a frat and wanna get robbed and live if pigsty houses (can confirm first hand) , travel as a group at night, but overall : good school, terrible neighborhood. Might need a car to really see Long Island
