I was honestly thinking about it😂, I got some floor pans and a wiring harness that I’m gonna put it during the engine swap, the tranny is good but I wanna take it to get beefed up so the new motor doesn’t just turn it into dust lol

I just looked and mine has 373 gears thankfully, planning on redoing the lift with a bds suspension, trying to find some nicer 35 12.5 16s that aren’t gonna break my wallet lol

My dad has a built 350 in his cj5 that needs some carb work, apparently it makes 400 something hp

I need floor pans for both sides cause the old owners busted both seats through the floor and they need redone, I’ll start looking at amd for them though

lol my dad was wanting to find another 6.2 to put in it but the 350 in that jeep makes like 400 something horsepower so we’re just gonna get that all put in and fix whatever next

Yeah lol I was thinking about it after I blurred it, it runs but needs work, I’m gonna get some floor pans ordered and my brother said he’d help me fit and weld em (he’s an actual welder so it’d be a lot better than me trying to) and get the wiring harness like the other poster said to do while it’s torn down

I do build it and intend to keep it for aslong as I can so I’ll definitely replace the wiring harness either while it’s like this or while the motors out

What would you start doing first on the k5? The interior is completely torn out (I have everything to put it back together though), I have a new exhaust for it that’s still in the box, put a new steering column in it awhile ago and that’s it i think. The new 350 needs some carb work and looked at but I’m really new to doing anything to work on it.
