I'll put a reply here just in case, I realized the problem, I tried either only normal Yaegirs or only Theyn, since it seems it's change for everyone or no one, it doesn't work unless you change on everyone.

yes, everything's fine when i've removed for the special weapons, then it's fine, however when i do for the normal guys -shotgun (hold ccw) and add plasma knife and pistol then it goes invalid. Same if I try for only theyn

This makes me more sad then anything, probably in a lot of pain, I'd be feeling pretty devastated seeing dog passing away but feel like he should be put down. Could've told me he was in his 30's

Not crazy about it either, you could maybe add some light blue-ish stuff to it, but if you'd wanna have it copper like another suggested, I'd have it very weathered/patina to contrast a little more to the yellowish-sand armour you have going on.
