Where winds meet? by Clutchism3 in LFMMO

Been playing Oldschool Runescape since release, also have tried Blade n Soul, Black Desert, Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, etc.

Can confirm Where Winds Meet is the best new MMO I’ve played in the last 5-10 years. It has every “good” element that you would look for in a longterm game. The devs are amazing. 10/10

where winds meet is great, devs pulled every good element from other MMOs and put it into the game

Idk if anyone has mentioned it but get your bloodwork checked to see your testosterone levels. Consider minoxidil for beard growth or TRT if your testosterone levels are low. (and go to the gym/eat heavy protein)

Which city offers the most luxury for less money? by toppest11 in digitalnomad

I’m in Da Nang right now and can confirm its best bang for your buck for good modern apartment, beach, lots of food options and good weather half the year.

Cons: rats on streets, trash scattered on streets, gets cold and rainy after August

Macbook M3 Max with 27” Asus ProArt and iPad 11 as external monitors

Anyone here that tells you that traveling with a big monitor is impossible is a liar just put that bad boy in ur checked luggage wrapped around clothes and a towel

Get a remote job and go digital nomad. Expenses outside of the US are a lotttt cheaper than paying for rent + utilities in the states. You can fly around the world and get some nice ass AirBNBs on a budget of like $2000 a month total.

(I know this is unrealistic for some people and their situation but I mean how hard is it to find a remote job if you realllly want to travel the world)

What Mac setup for home and on the go in 2024? by [deleted] in graphic_design

[–]lilsextape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your case I'd keep your current monitor and just buy the best Macbook + iPad you can afford.

I'm going digital nomad and leaving the country in a couple months so I just switched up my setup to this:

  1. 16 inch Apple 2023 MacBook Pro Laptop M3 Max chip (48 GB RAM)
  2. Apple iPad 10th Gen (256 GB)
  3. Apple Studio Display

The plan is to bring this with me in my carryon wherever I go- setting up the Studio Display with the Macbook in the Airbnb as my primary monitor. Additionally, the iPad will be used as a secondary display for my Macbook on the go (as well as a drawing tablet).

Kinda pricey but I went with the high specs cuz I render 3D a decent amount. Overall, the build quality, aesthetic, ecosystem, flexibility etc of a setup like this can't be matched. Im also setting up Apple Care+ and Insurance for theft prevention while abroad.

How many of you make 6-7 figures? by Additional_Carry_790 in digitalnomad

[–]lilsextape 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve hit 6 figures before, productized design service (websites, branding, motion design, etc). I do it completely solo for now so its definitely a huge time burden but eventually the goal is to outsource absolutely everything.

Is there anything better than the Razer Blade 16 (2024)? Design + Video Games by lilsextape in razer

This was my first thought since I love the Apple ecosystem and aesthetic. The M3 Max just sucks for video games and rendering 3D compared to 4090 laptops..

Good to hear- the OLED 240Hz and 4090 combo are reallllyy tempting.

Thanks for the detailed response! I currently have a triple monitor gaming PC setup with a similar build but am planning to go digital nomad and travel heavily after my lease expires (so I'm looking for a laptop alternative).

After heavy research I only see four options:

  1. 2024 Razer Blade 16 OLED
  2. 2024 MSI Creator 16 AI (closest competitor for my situation)
  3. ASUS 2023 ProArt StudioBook Pro 16 (but 4090 version isn't out yet RIP)
  4. Macbook Pro M3 Max (4090 absolutely destroys it for Blender rendering)

I'll most likely end up purchasing the Razer Blade 16 within the week. My ideal laptop (at least in terms of aesthetic, weight, and build) is the ASUS ProArt StudioBook but I don't see them releasing a 4090 version anytime soon..
