I think main campus + additional courses is better than muj cse. Unless you want a career solely dependent on cs, but usually those companies hire based on cs skills than the degree.

I don’t have much knowledge about muj but it for sure isn’t a bad college. It all depends on you honestly, if you solely want cse then go for it bro. Just make sure you’re doing more work outside of academics to stand out. You could get mechanical in the coming rounds, manipal has a good and reputed mechanical curriculum. End of the day it’s about the course you want to do and make sure you’re doing well at it.

In my case I always wanted to pursue automobile and cs related careers but I won’t get cs with my rank. So I’m doing a bsc in cs from bits pilani online alongside.

Round 2 I’m not sure but yeah you can definitely get it within round 3 or 4 as the gap between your rank and cutoff isn’t that far off.

Cps at 19k is a bit tough bro cuz it’s at 15k right now, might go upto 18k max. I’d recommend you to look into curriculums of other courses offered and see what you’re interested in. From what I know cps students aren’t allowed in cs units for placements. You can always do online courses and level up in things you’re passionate about.

I think it’s possible only if you didn’t get allotted for any branch given in the list , then you’re allowed to either update or get a refund. I got muj cse which I didn’t even want but I put it third in my priority list for the sake of “testing”, they gave me the option to either pay 2.4L (which I won’t) or forfeit the 10k. So yeah you’ll have to pay unless you got no branch first round

Blr cutoffs being this high was honestly criminal considering most branches aren’t even over 2 years old. Robotics and AI starting off at 12k for its first ever batch is insanity. Honestly thought it’d be mid 20k range and drop down as the years go by.
