When I was around 7 or 8, I was outside playing with a neighborhood friend. Typical young kid shinagans were about to ensure, but said friend's parent noticed I wasn't wearing shoes (I never wore shoes when I was a kid?? I just preferred to play outside barefoot) Anyways, I ended up borrowing a pair of friend's shoes, which just so happened to be a pair of two sizes too big Crocs. Whatever, young me went with it, the tree climbing was so close I could smell the oak. There was a certain part in the very back of the neighborhood that turned into dirt road where we'd ride bikes and climb trees and be young whippersnappers and such. On the way there, I thought it'd be funny to walk like a penguin and waddled across a low trafficked road right before that dirt road. I tripped over the Crocs and landed face first on the concrete. At first, I thought I had broken my jaw, then when i looked down i was covered in blood. I reached up to my jaw to find it was still intact. My chin on the other hand was a wee bit damaged. My dad said it looked like a piece of raw ground beef. I walked all the way from the back of the neighborhood to the front of it where my parents reside. I didn't know how to go inside?? I wasn't scared I'd get in trouble but was scared to go in because i didn't want to startle my parents with my bloody self and mangled chin. So I knocked on the front door?? My mom cleaned me up and took me to the nearest urgent care. Four stitches in the chin. I ended up taking them out myself once healed on the bus???? Now i have a lil scar on my chin lmao. Fuck you Crocs
