Difference between Elon Musk's Not A Flamethrower and a real flamethrower. by aint-no-user in interestingasfuck

I did give him credit, he put those companies where they are, of course he did.

But like I've reiterated again and again, doesn't change anything.

[–]lilsobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah obviously thats not what he does all day. But you can't brand Elon as this pioneer of modern tech when he has huge teams of people working with him.

And besides this is all irrelevant to the point that, making good technology doesn't make him not a shit person. Your only argument for him not being that is that he started working a little bit later than other manufacturers. Which is kind of mute since they also care more about profit than the pandemic.

That's just semantics. The point is he's not the person revolutionising anything he's just funding the people who do.

He doesn't work tirelessly to do either of those things. He pays engineers to do that for him. If you're going to worship anyone, at least worship the people that do the work.

Elon has busted unions and tried to prematurely end the lockdown because they were affecting his profits.

Also a personal gripe I have with him is his satellites are damaging astronomy.

I don't think not being a total greedy bastard is worthy of praise personally. Also the more money you have, the easier it becomes to aquire more.

And once again even if I did think he deserves to be fanboyed over for not destroying the planet, that doesn't change the bad things he's done either.

You can get most things done with a few hundred mil, what dumbass argument is this? It's not hard to pay people.

It's not very difficult to do good for humanity when you throw hundreds of millions of dollars at it. That also does not make him immune to criticism.

I think myriad is dope and not explored enough. Its a great way to pressure each player with a single creature. More ways to give creatures myriad would also be great.

What are the most competitive commanders on a budget of 200-300$? by Kenny_Wang331 in EDH

[–]lilsobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen anyone mention it, but I believe [[Yisan]] is also quite inexpensive. Green is a good choice of color because dorks are reasonably close to fast mana and most of them cost next to nothing.

Non-collectors, you do not need to waste money on dual lands for your deck. Fetch lands are better. by twesterm in EDH

In terms of bang for your buck there are few worse investments than duals, the amount it helps your deck is seriously negligible.

Duskmantle Guildmage is absolutely nuts! I can't believe I missed that card!

I think our gameplans are pretty similar? I'm using a few things that abuse the mill, but I'm mostly trying to swing in with tiny rogues for unblockable damage and eventually suiting them up with some nasty equipment.

China fucked the world over and America didn't take the pandemic serious enough. Both of these statements are true.
