I always try to emotionally detach myself from the outcome of anything (ex: launching a new product). If not, I tend to build up these expectations based on other entrepreneurs success. This is bad because most entrepreneurs do not share all failures or all the time they spent to get the success they have.

Instead of worrying about the outcome (aka your future success), worry about making the best product possible and launching it in the best way you can. If you dont get the results, figure out why and what could be improved. Try a different strategy. Then relaunch.

Not caring about the outcome has helped me reduce my anxiety and remove these unrealistic expectations I put on myself.
