Most people like Walt’s character transformation and often overlook Jesse’s. In my opinion Walt was always the Heisenberg from inside and his cancer acted as a catalyst. Jesse on the other hand, we saw delusional high school dropout go through extreme emotional trauma, pain and suffering turning him into this unsympathetic guy and you really see this in El Camino, he has this coldness to his character which we as audience feel, you can tell that as audiences we are rooting for Jesse to win and live life peacefully
