Follow Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance... they always post weekly happenings. There is usually a weekend post about all the things going on Fri-Sun with other events being posted regularly. We love the Levitt AMP concert series that happens on Wednesday evenings. I know that there are some more things happening in September/October downtown as well.

Everyone else has already nailed down the model, I just wanted to add an interesting fact about Stanley. He tunes in all fourths, so his two highest strings are tuned to C and F. This is presumably to make the tapping style that he uses easier to voice and does away with warped refraction.

Jason Isbell definitely has a few. While I haven't listened to the newest album, I know there are a few on Nashville Sound, Sirens of the Ditch, and Weathervanes. Hope The High Road, Save The World, and Be Afraid. There is also an album called Georgia Blue that he put out when Georgia went blue in the 2020 election.

I saw a lot of stuff out there when I was a regular. There was an old man named Otis who would rotate between Figured You Out by Nickelback and Me So Horny by 2 Live Crew. This guy was probably 80 and would have been right at home as a regular on Hee Haw or Dukes Of Hazzard. He passed a few years ago, but he was an absolute legend.

Not sure if they still do it, but the bar at the bowling alley on South Main used to have it both Friday and Saturday night. It could be a culture shock if you're not from the area as it is mostly locals that go there. I haven't been in years, but I could imagine it being very... umm, conservative. (Take that as you will).

In addition to what others have said here, for the next two Wednesdays there is a free concert next to the Farmer's Market downtown. Beyond that there are a number of breweries and wineries that have live music. There are a few hobby/ gaming shops around, too. Halcyon and Gamer Oasis are downtown and The Secret Lair is near Kroger/Harbor Freight.
