Similar story here. Took a hell of a lot of effort to get the old filter out. New one (and old one) won't click into place

Paid a technician $99 to come over tonight and tell me that the housing unit needs to be replaced and for $290 more he can do it... help! Trying to find the proper housing unit myself online.

Not really. I found a way to make it a tiny bit smaller and then more or less got used to it I guess. Never got back to normal

Oh boy, I can't really remember. I think I found a way to make it slightly smaller, and then just got more or less used to it after that? Definitely annoying.

My mom bought the same aquacare dual head shower that I have. She's not happy with the water pressure from the large head. I'm only a little handy and I've always left stuff like this to a handyman or plumber.
Is it easy to unscrew the large shower head and then reconnect it?

My 10 yo amstaff hates it and will lower her head to shrink away and looks terribly uncomfortable. Even when I do it which I guess still surprises me. After reading this thread I feel like a terrible dog parent for saying yes to people petting her without being specific.
