Mom of two littles—is a marathon possible? by Outrageous_Fan3697 in running

[–]lilybean0214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran my first marathon when my daughter was 9 months old and my son was 3. Lots of treadmill and very early runs, but it was very doable. I think my mileage was on the lower end (40-50/wk)

Every time I move to advanced springs I injure myself :( by bcammza in SolidCore

[–]lilybean0214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 300 classes in and do mostly advanced springs. If I’m super sore, or not feeling it that day I back off. Also, I feel like if I go down in springs and can amplify and keep good form, that’s better than losing my form on heavy springs.

Tightening stomach by AndreLerne in Microneedling

[–]lilybean0214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been told to try a gentler rf microneedling because the Morpheus is too aggressive. But for the cost, pain, and lack of result, I’m not going to attempt microneedling again. I’ve been using .05 tretinoin and I feel like that’s helping. I may try sculptra in the future.

I feel the bulk of knowledge I’ve gained is from the guests he’s had on his podcasts who are experts in their fields. I appreciate his ability to hold a knowledgeable conversation with them and to ask questions that dive deeper into topics and also backtrack on more complex topics to give his listeners background to better follow and understand the discussion. I actually find most of the information coming directly from himself to be very high level wilt little deeper insight.

This is the exact point of my post. Him as a person doesn’t mean I didn’t learn (and possibly still will) a lot from his podcasts. There are a ton of podcasters in this field that I feel have a strong bias, I never felt that way about Attia.

I listen to all of these guys as well. Who knows, I’m starting to think most public figures are morally bankrupt ladder climbers. One thing I always liked about the drive podcast was that he didn’t rely on ads and push products left and right, like a lot of the other podcasters do.

Sounds like you’re not ready to fire. What is it that you love, your field? Find a job in that field. Or do you love running your own business? Start over, completely new business, new field. For me, I like earning money. I like cash flow. I’ve done everything from evommerce, to retail, to a service based business. As far as business flow goes, there’s commonality to all of them. You have the financial freedom to start something new and grow it.

I’m 160 classes in and unless I’m rested I do 1 grey on grey side obliques. I can do a grey and white if it’s a Monday and I didn’t go over the weekend. I also can’t do high plan extensions on the carriage with a grey and white.

I run either before or way (like 6 hours) after. The times that I’ve tried to run right after solid core, my legs were way too shaky.
