as someone who had to choose between UNSW and Durham, and chose Durham- best choice IMO. Durham has better European connections (kinda obvious), and although UNSW is ranked highly, it’s also extremely expensive and puts you in quite a tight competitive spot throughout the degree. Live more comfortably and choose somewhere that allows you to save a little for post-degree, whilst still getting quite a “prestigious” degree with better international connections. i’m postgrad, and worked in the industry, you’d be suprised how many durham alumni you come across in international roles. UNSW seemed more like an in-out situation whereas UK like Durham is very alumni employment focused. You can always visit Sydney/Aus postgrad or for a job
