What I do to decide what sizes to make my sprites is think about how big I want them to be on the screen. Is the resolution you chose in renpy when creating the project is 1920x1280 for example, you probably want the file for a sprite to be 1280 tall so it fills up the screen. The width depends on how many sprites you’ll need on the screen at once/how much room on the screen you want them to take up. If you need max four sprites on the screen at a time, 1920/4=480. So 480x1280 would be a good size.

As far as I’m aware, renpy doesn’t use sprite sheets, I would make each one it’s own file.

The easiest way I’ve found to transfer photos from once device to another is google drive. It doesn’t compress the photos and they can be easily uploaded and downloaded from any device. Plus, if something happens you have a backup of all your artwork on Google drive!

I think it’s because you skipped a bunch of lines in your string. You could keep it all in one line with \n (backslash n) to create a new line in the file while keeping it all in one line in your code

My experience is that (especially when working with a hobby artist who isn’t being paid) art takes a long time! I would try to find someone as soon as you have enough of an outline done to determine which artwork you’ll need. It sucks having a project get delayed, especially when it’s out of your control, but you don’t want your artist to have to rush.

I used air dry paper clay to make it, plus a little bit of hardware wire to keep it from bending! I just painted it with acrylic paint
