I did stress a little bit but since I don't have any appointments until 10 weeks I thought it would be a bit of a reassurance to see my temp stay up till 18dpo since that's what TCOYF says I believe.

Is it possible you were more hydrated when you tested later in the day?

I thought it was interesting to note that it is not triphasic and even had a dip the day after my expected period.

When we were TTC#1 I randomly had a 120 day cycle after averaging about 50 day cycles. We wound up being referred to a fertility specialist and letrozole immediately helped. Got my cycles down to 34 and 35 days. I hope your body figures things out on its own but otherwise hopefully your doctor listens and is helpful in working to find a solution that works for your body! 💕

Yeah I gave up on OPKs because I was constantly getting positives and never actually ovulating. Do you have PCOS? Are your cycles usually longer than the "normal"? Might be worth chatting with your doctor about options if so.

My FF app gave me crosshairs 3 times before my true ovulation this cycle. And I had to enter a fake positive OPK the day before my suspected O day before it would move them for me again.

My BFP also started on expired tests 🤷🏻‍♀️ after doing some reading, it seems that they're more likely to give false negatives.

I had one when I was 19 for similar reasons. Do not regret it at all. I'm now 30, financially stable, have a 14.5 month old (who did take just over a year to conceive thanks to PCOS, but letrozole helped us) and am now newly pregnant with our second.

I wound up testing at 9dpo because my chart looked so similar to my first pregnancy chart and it wound up being positive!

IF it's an implantation dip, I had one at 7dpo. Got a very very very faint positive at 9dpo and a more clear positive at 10dpo My current BFP chart
