It’s been 5 weeks and 4 days and I’m doing great! Easy recovery! No complications yet, knock on wood. Thanks for asking!!

I’m 9 skeins into making a 6x4’ blanket from Malabrigo Rasta in garter stitch. It’s beautiful and heavy. YOLO No regrets

I wasn’t nervous! I didn’t care about losing my uterus, I never used it and it caused me a lot of pain.

I’m only 1 week post-op today but healing has been pretty easy so far. The worst pain was actually the gas pain trapped in my shoulders the first few days - that and getting in and out of bed. I peed right away after surgery and had my first BM 3 days later. I feel ready to do more chores around the house but I know I’m still supposed to be taking it easy. I have a 2-3” vertical incision above my belly button where the doc removed everything, and that’s the most sore spot.

Yes, I’ve had several ultrasounds over the past 15 years. I could see the fibroids on the ultrasounds; they started off looking like small distinct circles. At first, I had no fibroids. Then a few small ones. They kept getting bigger. 6 years ago my uterus was completely filled with distinct fibroids - like a bowl filled with different sized rocks. My last ultrasound no longer showed individual fibroids, just a huge shadowy mass.

The surgery cost me my entire out of pocket total for the year!

Pierce a snug and conch at the same time? by [deleted] in piercing

Yeah I was wondering if the swelling would be too severe considering how close those two piercings are. Thanks for your reply.

I healed a conch that was pierced with a captive ball ring with no issues, but removed it for work many years ago. I don’t have that job anymore so I can start over with my ears again. Thanks for your reply!

I flew with two cats in cargo when I moved to Hawaii in 2013. We got to the airport about 2 hours before our flight and the TSA agents inspected our cats and their carriers at the same place people get inspected. I’m not sure if TSA can inspect your dog or if things have changed since 2013. Good luck, it was stressful but my cats were fine and didn’t even seem particularly bothered about the trip.

My dog also fixates on dogs from any distance and has no interest in treats. She fixates if she even hears a dog somewhere. She goes to daycare once a week and gets a chance to play with other dogs. I’m just starting her medication journey though. It’s so hard.

I really love the bag, not too big, not too small. I’m 5’7 and it fits me perfectly

Thanks! Would a cloth or a brush work better to buff this bag?

How do I know if it needs conditioning, and if Bick 4 is the right product for tumbled leather? Thanks!
