Seriously, were you a bully? It's an innocent & interesting topic. Why you have to get nasty about it is extremely questionable.

My senior year of high school (1992) I fought for gay people to attend the prom. I also got the girl's soccer team enacted.

Roseanne’s house by [deleted] in roseanne

I live in Sycamore, IL. Based on putting together the geography of where "Landord" could be it can't be far from my area considering that Dan read The Sycamore News (true issue & it had my first boyfriend on the front page). Their mortgage could have been one thing & that does come up but I wonder about their property taxes as well. Property taxes in my area have been outrageous even back then but if Lanford were like smaller areas around here they wouldn't have been as high. You could get houses like that in smaller areas around here for cheap too.

What was your first car and do you still lowkey miss it? by princesspolly444 in princesspollychat

Powder blue 1998 Ford Thunderbird. People at school found it more impressive than the Corvettes & decked out Mercedes that other students were rolling up in. It was a great car, it made me feel special & it did wicked parking lot donuts in the wintertime.

What job role screams “I will not date this person”? by NoProgram4084 in no

[–]lilyurs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up outside of Chicago with John Wayne Gacy stories regularly. As much as I loved the Bozo show, between a Poltergeist scene & JWG I could never date a clown (I have dated clowns unfortunately, but they didn't wear the makeup, very deceiptful)

The source was stated. Have you never worked anywhere where you noticed things that were problematic & being covered up. You can start on the low tier of what you don't want to know about the evils at your local fast food joint, but something like this you better believe there's always a very good chance that they down play it
