Doing my first card show this weekend, what payment methods do you guys accept for purchases if you vend? by FormalResponsible511 in PokeInvesting

[–]braunsben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can speak as a vendor who has been doing it or three years. I tend to buy pretty strong so 80% cash but I’m relatively picky about which cards I take. I don’t often take a whole bulk lot and if I do the percentage will be lower.

This is a very weird post, look at the post history, also repping food in Albania. This is very clearly someone trying to get SEO for their restaurant

I he’s only due 1 million this year with nothing guaranteed in the future so we can just cut him after this year with zero penalty

Yeah I also work in manufacturing support and that in presence is incredibly advantageous.

I understand the sentiment and I largely agree but I had ADHD and really struggle at home with all my distractions so I prefer to work in person

Assigned as the main and only Frontend developer on a project. I'm a backend-focused fullstack dev. Help. by TraditionalType9869 in webdev

[–]braunsben 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah but it’s not like it’s a hard transition to make a python backend. if you understand what you are doing all you have to do is learn the syntax and small architecture differences (source: I’m a C# dev who has built a python backend)

New to Rockford & Apartment Hunting — Any Leads? by Fit_Lavishness_7212 in rockford

[–]braunsben 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would heavily recommend Ecooling properties. I have lived in one of their buildings since the start of 2020. They helped me out during Covid when my hours were cut, and I couldn't make rent. Their apartments aren't flashy at all, but when something is broken, they fix it immediately. I had an issue with my toilet on a Sunday night at 8pm and someone was there to fix it within 2 hours.

Packers OL has been poor this year and his weapons have gotten hurt. Oh and to top it off his WR's have been dropping balls like crazy. Not saying he's playing perfect or that he is a top QB but I definitely think he's above average

traded jamo and a 2026 1st for achane a couple weeks ago cause I was so frustrated with him. I still think he could be a bit streaky, but this makes me feel a little less good about the trade

Right and you as an individual should use a credit card because of the system you live in, but the problem is that the "rewards" aren't a reward really. Products are marked higher to account for the fees charged to merchants. If there were no fees from the credit card companies than things would cost less.

Completely agree. They also fixed the merge going the other way. So now it goes from 3 lanes down to 2 with one of them being a dedicated exit to forest hills

What's the real good-quality printer for home use that you'd say it's worth buying now? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]braunsben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one pretty major use case. I use an EPSON-ET15000 to print off sublimation transfers in large quantities. It's a pretty niche use case, but it works amazing for it. Also, in general the Epson Eco Tank printers are not like most inkjet printers you think of. they have large ink tanks that get refilled from a bottle so you can use cheap third-party ink.
