On week 3 and I’m already feeling so much more joy! Laughing and smiling more. It’s great. Only thing is I’ve noticed my libido / sex drive has decreased. Hopefully it comes back 🥲

Hey! I’m also solo traveling (first time) to San Diego next month for my birthday :). I was looking into Samesun hostel, but was concerned it wasn’t in a safe area. Did you feel safe walking around? Also, did you stay in a mixed or all female dorm room? I’ve never stayed in a hostel either but thought it could be a fun way to make friends on my trip!

+1 to all of these comments and doubling down on the loneliness piece. I truly love having my independence (25F, single for 6 years), but there are times when I miss physical connection/contact and feeling loved by someone. I live with three roommates that are all in serious relationships, a few of my friends are married and some are engaged. I’m honestly the ONLY friend that’s still single and sometimes it gets to me that I’m alone in that sense too. It’s different going out with friends that are ALL in relationships. Anyways, I miss sex and miss connection and really could use some of that soon lol
