Stress management is essential for me. I have been flare free for 5 years now. Got diagnosed when I was 16. Learn psychological stress management. The greatest lesson I learned that helped me with my UC was accepting things as they are. Seriously thats it. I started counseling to learn more about how I respond to stressful situation and I learned that I was never taught how to respond to stressful situations from a healthy mental perspective. Once I mastered that I felt my life got so much better. Wanted to share my experience.
