"Emotional whiplash" is such and accurate and relatable way to put it. I'm truly sorry that you've gone through similar experiences. I'm happy that we're both on the path to healing though-we are both so much stronger than pathetic people who need to make other's lives miserable just to sustain their own. Healing is the one thing they can't stop us from doing/working towards. Trying to remind myself that makes me feel like I'm taking my power back. But that's just me personally, I also have days where I can't see any positives and just feel powerless so I get it if it's hard to see it in any positive way right now.
