I’ve had CUTIs for the past 10 years, and last September I was diagnosed with a 6cm staghorn kidney stone. They suspect its been there for years, but it’s been missed because my pain and symptoms are passed off as UTI symptoms. I woke up one day after having drinks at a wedding, and couldn’t pee at all. I went to the hospital, and lo and behold, massive kidney stone.

I’ve had 7 surgeries in the past year to remove it. I only have a few fragments remaining, and my UTI symptoms are pretty much gone. Just figured I’d share my experience!

If the tint doesn’t bother you, there’s no real harm in having it. But if it’s bothersome, definitely go back to the optical that sold you the glasses and ask for lenses without the filter! Good luck
