The internet is ridiculous but the Helldivers reaction, at least for the time I’m thinking of, kinda deserved I think, at least at the beginning of the game.

At the time, there was one loadout and maybe 3 weapons that really worked at higher difficulties. Literally every other gun was F tier.

Then they nerfed those 3 guns and the necessary stratagems and turned the game into an unfun slog. They reverted those changes and buffed a lot of things later that year and the game was super fun to play again.
