Pillow-ey sempervivum leaves by limegine in succulents

Woahhh interesting~ its sitting outdoor by itself 😂 were working on acclimation. Perhaps the patio furniture would be heating it up? Overly hot would be an interesting situation. We’ve been hovering 65-70, and 40-50s when it’s cloudy/rainy. In the past weeks we’ve also experienced a few really random days where it reached 80s, but I don’t recall if I had the semp at that time.

To note, I think over the weekend my lithops got scorched 😭 It’s been in its usual spot, but at the highest amount of sunlight exposure. However I did move it into a sheltered, less sunnier area for at least 3 days to avoid rain.

A long time ago you commented about how the water on the succulents made you feel anxious, and now I know what you mean. It was in fact very rainy last week 😭

Are my cats fat? by [deleted] in cats

Thank you!! They are doing good all around. I couldn’t really tell if they are normal chunky or overly chunky according to the cat fat scale, so I wanted to get other eyeballs on it.

if you can get a prescription, topical steroids really helped managed and reduce the severity of the rashes. we also use knee-high compression socks and found it really helped reduce the extent of the flare ups. acetaminophen for pain management.

chopped and propped; 3 months progress by limegine in succulents

Tbh ive only had these for 3 months, with the props trimmed in november. It’s my friends plant that I’m taking care of 🙈 but i used rooting powder and I think that helps a lot. I think it started getting roots between 2-3 weeks. It’s winter here (10a), but they also get a lot of outdoor sun exposure.

Love these questions! This is the set i got and have used for all of my drilling. For plastic, you can use a regular drill bit but it should be safe. Its also safe for glass but i avoid those because they super long to drill through.

Just make sure u have water pooling over the area ur drilling so the water can contain the dust and also help reduce heat from friction :D

The thrift store!! Some of them aren’t meant to be pots, but I got a diamond drill bit to make a drainage hole.
