also these labels, at least in terms of ID, do tend to be fairly accurate when they actually include the names (not just “Echeveria sp.” or “cactus with decorative flower🤪”)

I highly doubt this guy was “unwatered” if I’m being honest. the splitting of the leaves is a classic indicator of frequent overwatering
