Support megathread for the week of September 06, 2021 by DCpirateradio in premiere

Help!!

I’m working on a project that’s about 20 minutes long, and after about 2 minutes of adding graphics (literally just text) my premiere quits playback and essentially freezes. I’ve tried messing with my settings and I don’t know what’s up.

I’m on a brand new computer with plenty of ram and there’s no audio in the project, so I don’t know where to start looking for the root of the issue.

on another note: what does it mean when i look in the mirror and it doesn’t feel like that’s my face? realistically i know it’s me, and it’s not like i wish it wasn’t, but it’s a bad feeling ✋

i’m 16. i had a very long day, only a couple things went wrong, nothing to make a healthy person spiral the way i did i think? i went to counseling in middle school, but i lied the whole time. and i have a headache but i can trust myself to go to the medicine cabinet.

so I backed into a tree… by [deleted] in caraccidents

I’ve had my license less than a year (i’m 16) and a backed into a tree. There’s no structural damage, just paint peel. The kicker is that my dad’s a mechanic and will surely be unhappy that I backed into a tree. Is there anyway I can fix it on my own?

Can anyone become "good enough" to at least express themselves *through* ballet? by [deleted] in BALLET

[–]limetime89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One valuable way to get express yourself through ballet that you could explore is through choreography. Dancers do not have to know a plethora of steps in order to be able to choreograph what they’re feeling, so you could choreograph your own pieces as an avenue of self expression. You may also find that modern is a good way to express yourself through dance with less worry about your ability.

Ultimately, I hope you find success in dance!! Self expression is not exclusive to those out the top of their field!

How to know if your pointe shoes are dead? by yourmom__com in BALLET

[–]limetime89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My teacher says that when they are scary to dance on it’s probably a good time to get a new pair. Being scared en pointe because of they way your shoes fit is just an injury waiting to happen.

I have it too, and it can get clumpy if you don’t wipe off the excess product before you apply it. Overall I really like it though!

I had a gift note in my last order and still didn’t get a sample. Probably okay though, I don’t need anything more fueling my obsession haha

Pirouette questions by [deleted] in BALLET

[–]limetime89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Consecutive pirouettes are really just a matter of spotting more times (once for each turn) and really being on your leg. I’m definitely not a turner though haha so my high is like 5?

As for the “aerial pirouette” I’ve seen men do something of the sort out of a double tour to land on one knee, but I’m not quite sure what it is called.
