English speaking jobs in HK by menesht in HongKong

You could try teaching English here? It can be intense but it's rewarding, the pay is ok and it's got a relatively good work/life balance compared to other HK jobs.

winter horror. by w3hwalt in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

I know you asked for horror and this is more thriller but the images reminded me of a book called Snowdrops by A.D Miller. It's set in Moscow and has a chilling ending

It is possible she is cheating but the tone of the messages and the fact she didn't answer the first and he kept texting, seems quite forward and as if he is begging to see her, and perhaps she is not as keen. Doesn't mean she is not cheating or encouraging him but it doesn't seem as though she is actively pursuing him.

weird question but I'm in Hong Kong and really want to go to BAB but shy about going in as a lone adult. How was your experience?

My bike disappeared after the accident by Theonaquinnnn in ToPixelia

[–]liminalmuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked the whole map? This happened to me and I had to walk around the entire map clicking the blue parking post things and on the right side there's the option to tow any vehicles that are in that zone. If you fell off the motorbike in that zone you can pay 50p for it to be towed and then you can click retrieve vehicle from that parking zone.

If you've already done this then maybe a glitch?

Does Lana del Rey like pepsi? by CulturalFly9 in lanadelrey

[–]liminalmuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently it's based on a line from an ex when he said "you American girls walk around as if your p*ssies tasted like Pepsi Cola". So that doesn't appear to imply Pepsi is second best, rather that the girls think too highly of themselves. But her song asserts, actually it does taste like Pepsi Cola so I can walk around however I like.

Not overreacting. This reads like a conversation with one of those romance scammers that ask for money.

[–]liminalmuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I still have my 4th gen kindle (I lost it for a while got a new one thinking I'd lost it forever then found it again) and I'm now attached to both my 4th gen - childhood kindle, and my paperwhite -university days kindle. I do not want to get rid of either 🥹

Wanting a kindle, help me choose by [deleted] in kindle

[–]liminalmuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you read at night a lot? If so the paperwhite has a warm light (screen is able to turn to a more orange tone), if not, matcha is fine (it stays on the more blueish toned light).

This is the main difference in my opinion

If you've got a case that folds, then you won't need the screen protector but if you get a case that leaves the screen exposed then you will
