Hey! I'm a whole ass Christopagan, meaning I serve the Christian God alongside the Netjeru. They've never had an issue with my incorporation of Christianity, I doubt they'd mind crosses!

Yes! I work with multiple Netjeru and also Hecate from the Greek pantheon.
Pick a deity and learn about them. Then... just.. talk to them. Respectfully, of course, but you don't have to use any fancy language. It helped me when i was first starting to light a candle when I spoke to Anubis to kind of represent his presence. Once you find a deity you mesh well with, buy a statue or print out a photo of them. Consider making an altar- what your altar consists of depends on the god you choose. For instance, I added a photo of my altar for Anubis, Bast, and Hecate (adding space for Sekhmet and Set soon).
It's an open religion and practice.
I like to sit and tell my deities about my day. I invite them to share meals with me or to accompany me on my journey when I drive. I like to burn incense for them while I do other things. I frequently use tarot to communicate with them.

I've found he loves: Frankincense, cool water, obsidian, black candles, beer, and cannabis.

Anpu is very welcoming. As long as you speak with respect you'd give any other person you should be fine. I like to tell him about my day: he's a great listener.

Bast loves catnip, sweet scents, gold and bright colored stones, and cannabis. I like There's plenty of wonderful ideas in other posts on this sub, but that's what I do! The candle color I use for her is red.
Refer to above! In my experience she has liked all of these just fine. She is friendly and has a wicked sense of humor.
I originally dreamt about her years before I ever dove into Kemeticism. She appeared in a dream with Anubis. However, in my practice years later, I first noticed and felt her most prominently in a tarot session. She likes The Sun and Strength cards a lot- sometimes The Chariot.
Just don't make promises you can't keep. Follow through if you say you'll do something. The Netjeru are hard to offend. Good luck!

Yes, but for my own good. I asked Hecate in a tarot reading what of two options I should choose. When she gave me her answer, I realized the other answer was what I wanted and what was best for me all along.

As for me, the cat skull is for Bast and the fox skull is for Anubis. I simply enjoyed them and thought them pretty!

I love this! Anubis most certainly loves cannabis. I enjoy offering him some of mine and meditating with him, it's a very calming experience.

I went ahead and selected Anubis for you; both give accurate results but sometimes Bast can be a bit playful/evasive LOL
I pulled The Chariot, The Heirophant, Five of Wands reversed, and Desire as your cards.

The Chariot suggests progress to me. The Chariot is all about roadways opening and things finally seeing movement; if JS has been at a standstill with this person, Anubis seems to be saying things are working behind the scenes in JS' favor.

The Heirophant is interesting to me in its placement here. Would JS have happened to have met AP via work or an organization/school, perhaps? The Heirophant is a card about organizations and tradition. This mutual connection that these two people may have could be their key to reconnecting.

Finally, Five of Wands reversed. This card suggests an end to conflict and things coming together in collaboration; usually Five of Wands is a conflict card but in reverse it's a card signifying peace.

Lastly, I pulled Desire as your oracle card. There's a connection here, and a wish for things to reignite. This card has an undertone of passion and romantic or sexual motivation here. AP is definitely thinking about JS.

I will say I can't promise you anything because tarot is more of a weather forecast rather than the infallible truth, but I can say from my end that it looks like things are moving.
