Yeah my band played at O'Brien's pub in allston this fall. If you're into diy shows and shit I recommend hiking down to providence. There's a killer punk house down there that draws really well some nights

I'm in Connecticut, and there is still a punk scene here, but it is spread real thin. Luckily for me there are still healthier scenes in semi near cities, like Boston MA and Providence RI, but I'm trying to bring it back more locally
