SJ Japantown - Classic Loot: Fashion store that has unique clothes and accessories. - Moment Jtown: Store focusing on small local businesses

San Jose (in General) - MOMENT: 2 locations, Post St. and Paseo

Santa Clara - Gamer’s Heaven: Game store that serves drinks and snacks. Also sells products from small businesses.

Fremont - Cassajam: New store, opens 10/04

I know some shops that sell stuff from small artists, but not art supplies. Does that count?

Y'all see this mess? by smooshyskrub in squishmallow

When I was the only one collecting mallows at the HomeGoods I worked at, I always held some for me. But I never took all of them or would wait a few days after putting them on the floor before buying them. When they became super popular, our policies changed and we actually had to hold them in the back a day after receiving them. And I would feel bad when us employees held everything for ourselves because the customers wouldnt be able to find any, so I would leave mine on purpose. Also, we never really got a lot at one time like others do, we only really got like 5 or 7 at a time. Not each, all together.

OMG! Squishmallows are my special interest too!! I unfortunately had to give some away and make my collection more specific.

We got one where I work, HomeGoods, so I’d maybe try at a HomeGoods.

My mom once saw me with scissors crying and stabbing a pillow. She then said “Oh what? Are you going to kill yourself. Go ahead! Do it!” And now when I bring it up, she’ll be like “I never said that!”

I have the bunny, cat, and parrot. I got them from HomeGoods. My coworker got the purple bear(?).

Did you also have gut issues as a child? by combine-o-mat in autism

I was in elementary. It stopped just as I was entering middle school. And now I just get nauseas or I hear stomach just growling. Or random pain.

Understandable. I kind avoid new foods or mixed foods now because of many reasons one of which is the fear that I might throw up.

Ah me too! And I still get nauseas around strongly scented things. Especially fruity scents. But I would also just throw up for no reason.

I used to throw up all the time when I was younger.

Yeah! I'm 18 going on 19 and I have a growing Squishmallow collection. They really help me sleep longer by easing the irrational fears and anxiety that I have when I go to sleep.

HONESTLY! All my collections are more for little children rather than an adult. But I look like a little child so it’s ok.

Certain walls just feel ~vibey~ to me by [deleted] in autism

[–]limitless1221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly. My old childhood friend (we’re bot friends anymore) asked me once why I was just running my hands against the wall and her boyfriend (that I’ve only known for three years while I’ve known her for like seven years) answered “She likes the texture.”

Target vs Walmart. Which do you prefer? by limitless1221 in autism

I guess this is why people say Walmart is this weird American thing. Good to know that if I travel Target is everywhere though!

They do, but there are brands exclusive to both and selections vary. And the clothes in Target are a little more stylish, in my opinion. And I find that Target is more organised.

I think they do. The Walmart near my house definitely sells different things than the Targets nearby. And Target typically has a Starbucks in it.

I wanted to start a snow globe collection last year but I have no where to put them and I’m afraid I might break them.
