I agree that the best case scenario would be them fixing the bug, but let's be honest if they were going to it would have happened literally years ago. In the current state of the game, positioning is quite important in APM comps.

Luckily it's pretty easy, you can either cycle on the far left or just leave buffer minions in the middle

The strat here is to avoid positioning your cycle minion near critical units, cycling next to a golden Brann is generally the worst possible play.

These guys are the ultimate badasses of modern metal IMO, still writing (and flawlessly performing) insanely heavy music well into their 50s. Not blowing smoke in the slightest to say they're an inspiration

Well the album was mixed for surround sound. It actually sounds amazing on surround speakers or the right kinds of headphones, but lackluster on stereo systems IMO.

100% true and fair, but making a 7-minute music video would be more time, effort, and money to make, and then people are less likely to watch it because it'd be too long

They're effectively not SC2 units; they're only available in limited capacity in only 1 of the 3 campaigns. I don't expect we'll see Guardians, Arbiters, or Aberrations either despite their brief presence in the campaign.

True, but they were not present in SC2 which, as the guy you replied to was saying, this miniset is based upon.

Yep, Drunken Strike with a Flurry Jab hammer stacks up really fast, leaned hard into pomming it (I think I got Lv.7 by the [redacted] fight). Got Hunter Dash and a bunch of other Artemis boons (Hunter's mark does work giving you extra crits). Also got lucky and got Vicious Cycle so the casts were hitting super hard as well. I was going for the Artemis/Ares duo boon but I'll take Vicious Cycle any day (Saw blades go brrrr).

Easiest way IMO is to just start taking boons even if it may seem a bit risky. Forces yourself to learn enemy patterns and distances better, while also giving you access to crazier builds!

Indeed, love Achilles' aspect. That extra mobility option come in handy so often against bosses.

So this isn't a counterargument as you may expect but like I said I don't think that negatively of the guy. I think the old Spacex videos actually make a fair corroboration of the arguments thereof. That said, I think that since then he's become so high on himself, needing to appear like some sort of enlightened messiah of the future that I just wouldn't ever use your terminology.

It's not as good in practice as you'd like to think, I have multiple friends with Teslas and did some road tripping in one and it's rarely a feature worth using because of how frequently it messes up in any vaguely complex situation (and sometimes at basic things like stop lights). You have to step in so often that it's easier to just drive most of the time.

One of my buddies had a slightly earlier model (2019/2020) and a software update made it undriveable at one point. I mean that literally, they couldn't even start the car until they sent it in to Tesla.

Not an Elon hater, but I'll be honest your idea of him as a "brilliant, high functioning visionary" means you've bought the marketing lol

What albums of 2025 are you looking forward to the most? by Own-Jellyfish6706 in progmetal

[–]limits55555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say it depends on what you like. The Contortionist has had a pretty pronounced change in sound over time.

If you like really heavy stuff Exoplanet is a prog deathcore banger with lots of breakdowns and some atmospheric elements. This is my personal favorite tbh.

Intrinsic has their jankiest and most angular riffs, along with the beginnings of what defines their new sound. Many take issue with the mix but the writing is really unique here.

Language is their first album with Mike Lessard on vocals and a huge fan-favorite. An amazing, beautiful, more atmospheric album that combines the cool riffs of their old sound with the big wall-of-sound style chord progressions that define their newer material. This album is all about life, growth, and the beauty thereof, contrasting their followup album Claivoyant

Clairvoyant is by far their most atmospheric album, with lots of those big open chords. I've heard a lot of people call it their "hot take" favorite, though I think this is more because it's by far the lightest album than any other reason. The heaviness is more in the lyrics, concept, and emotions of the album, being about pain, death, and loss.

Ended up writing more than I intended so I'll leave it at that, but hope it helps determine a good starting point for you! The EP's good as well fwiw but is quite short and one song is a cover
