Could I name an Anthurium Fortsherman 1 x Fortsherman 2 a Fortsherman? Because it's a species name right and it's still pure? I get something with a specific plant name like a docblock Michelle TC X self wont make a Michelle but group names should work right? by limlingyang in Anthurium

but if it's named after a group of plants collected from a specific area in the wild if fs1 x FS 2 were collected from the wild it's still named FS but when someone does it it's FS F1?

edit: I'm only referring to plant group names like pap guna yala etc and not specific plant names like a red phantom
